Hope
The incumbent offers the truth.
Everyone else offers hope – the hope that the truth might become better elsewhere.
As investors we hope the truth continues, the record to date certainly supports that hope.
And that’s safer than hoping the hope becomes the truth, how can you with any certainty?

Some things are “give or take”, others “give and take”.
Don’t commit until you’re sure which one you’re facing.
We want to minimise future regret if we can.
It only takes a second or two.

One-eyed monster?
In the land of the blind the one-eyed man most probably is king.
But with that comes ultimate responsibility to be truthful, honest and kind and to put all others before yourself.
Because taking advantage of such a position, like only eating chocolate, is no fun in the end.

Sharing
Creating, inventing, innovating is within us all.
The difference between those that move the world forward and those that don’t is their desire to share.
If Newton and Darwin or Gates and Jobs or Shakespeare and Dickens hadn’t shared where would we and they be?
