Just because something is “overvalued” compared to the past doesn’t mean it won’t remain so.
Things can take a long time to get back to average, and in that time they change the average.
And who’s to say that whatever seems “overvalued” today wasn’t simply chronically “undervalued” before anyway?
Just because it “was” doesn’t mean it “will be”.
