A couple of thoughts…
Simplicity
Your financial plan needs only three sections:
1 – Who is the money for;
2 – What is the money for;
3 – When it is needed.
Anything else is superfluous. 1 page of A4 will do it.
Buy simplicity not complexity.
Put Them First
Too often we act from a position of fear.
We behave in ways that align with what we want out of an interaction – money, praise etc. – not what the other party might get.
We think and act in terms of what is in it for us, not them.
Sadly this often mean that they never get to know about the great value we can impart on them.
Because we are not prepared to serve without hesitation, they never get to see or experience the best of us.
And so, there passes by another unique opportunity to serve someone deeply. To change a life for the better.
The irony is, if we had served without hesitation, we get what we want too.
All we had to do was put them first.
